A community treasure since , the New Canaan Thrift Shop is housed at its landmark corner location at Locust Avenue. The New Canaan Thrift Shop is one of the oldest volunteerrun thrift shops in the country and all proceeds directly benefit the patients of Visiting Nurse Hospice of Fairfield County, an affiliate of Waveny LifeCare Network.The New Canaan Thrift Shop is now open from noon until p.m., Monday through Friday and starting April th, will be open every Saturday from am pm. Donations will be accepted am Noon, Monday Friday.
