Habitat is a great organization. I went by today to donate a nice rug I had in my home office. It was only a year old, but my wife bought me a new one. I walked through the store and the level of merchandise was down. With COVID, its More

Save yourself the trip, go to Home Goods instead. Youll find new items for same price.. I visited last year and prices were in line with resalethrift stores. Unsure why the huge difference in price increase.

My son tried to donate a brand new hood part and they said they couldnt take it because it was an incomplete set. Then afterwards he told my son to think about it and why would they take incomplete things. Just trying not create waste but apparently we were too dumb.

I donated a sink I cant use. The store is big and full of treasures of all kinds. I could easily spend the day there browsing and buy all kinds of things.

Is a great place to support.. The Habitat for Humanity builds houses for the needy. They take donations from the private sector and construction sites and use the profits to support the building. A great company Jimmy Carter has started and still works with

Great place to pickup furniture and parts for your house at a VERY reasonable price. They have plumbing, lots of lighting bulbs and fixtures, and TVs. Also bath and kitchen cabinets. Drop offs of good condition donations can be made on the side of the building. Only downside it that it is cluttered.
