Evolution Home is the next step in the evolution of a year old business. We started as Potomac West Interiors and Antiques on the corner of Mount Vernon Avenue and Monroe in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria. We expanded to Five Oaks Antiques, closed that store and opened Not Too Shabby Consignments right next door to Potomac West Interiors and Antiques. After the sale of our home of years on Mount Vernon Avenue, we took a leap of faith and moved the business to our new home, the old St. Claire Appliance building on Richmond Highway. We decided to merge Potomac West Antiques and Not Too Shabby Consignments under one name, Evolution Home. You can still expect the same quality home furnishings, with a fresh new twist.

Dont let the sketchy surroundings scare you away this is one of the best antique stores in the area. The game of chances is wellplayed here, as theres always something interesting to see here. Their furniture selection is surprisingly good, and the items are often of a higher quality than modern competition.
