New Life Thrift and Life Skills Centers mission is to provide life skills and support services offering that extra push forward that is sometimes needed for teensyoung adults who are transitioning to adulthood and tweens who are transitioning to adolescence. Life Skills classes teach selfsufficiency while fostering independence and socialemotional maturity. The thrift store is used as a training center and way to teach job skills, customer service skills, and as means of helping young adults overcome many social anxieties, social barriers, and to become confident independent adults.
