Theyve denied help to a friend just because she was on disability and couldnt go around applying for jobs. Ridiculous And judgemental people.

I lived at opportunity house shelter and they have taught me so much. I will always be greatful for them and i will always support them. I still tell everyone who will listen about them. I care about the people they help and the opportunities that they open up to them

This place does help homeless people but do not be misled if if you call them and they answer the phone Vacaville Social Services. They are not affiliated with Solano County Health and Social Services, the place you should contact if you need help such as CalFresh, CalWorks, or MediCal, etc.

Worst shelter Ive ever had to stay at, and thats saying a lot since Ive stayed at more than anyone should have to. This place is a total mad house. Avoid at all costs. Seriously, because there are much better options out there. If you do More

If. Your not court orderd, and you go there and your not paying them money, well then be prepard to disrespected, treated unfairly and that is from the staff the people that run the place. And then they dont let you say thing to the ones More

Honestly, wish I could give this place negative stars but unfortunately I cant. I was thinking about applying here to get more experience working with the houseless community but a former employee described to me how toxic the work environment is especially the management. Would not recommend at all.

Dismissed me after months of working the program successfully. If you have preexisting conditions make sure you wont be written off as a liability after months of immersion in their program. Great people, just be careful of seeking this program if you are disabled.
